I am a fully qualified and insured Equine Sports and Rehabilitation Massage Therapist. I am a professional member of the IAAMB (International Association of Animal Massage and Bodywork) and I am registered with UK Rural Skills. I trained and studied with Wolds Equine Rehabilitation and Training and graduated with distinction.
Common signs your horse will benefit from a massage:
🐴 appears stiff or not striding out to full extension.
🐴 grumpy when girthed up or behavioural changes.
🐴 poor (or reduced) flexibility.
🐴 unwillingness (in all work or specific movements).
🐴 'cold backed'
🐴 twisting over fences
🐴 refusing to do things that were once easy (jumping/ dressage movements)
🐴saddle slipping to one side
I currently treat a wide range of horses and ponies, from competition horses/ponies, happy hackers to golden oldie retirees 💕.
Benefits of equine massage are:
✅Improved lymphatic drainage
✅Reduces swelling and inflammation
✅Releases natural pain relieving endorphins
✅Prevents adhesions in muscle tissue
✅Increases blood flow to muscles
Keeping your horse happy and healthy is the key to a successful partnership 💕
